Adult lessons are 1 hour and take place in-studio or virtually.

Singers, we’ll work on building out your practice routine with powerful exercises, helping you coordinate your skills into strong, healthy singing, and developing a repertory of your favorite songs. Lessons will be developed uniquely to your set of goals and level of experience.

Speaking clients, your lessons may cover non-verbal communication as well as vocal strengthening (i.e. breathing, tone, clarity and resonance). I’ll also introduce you to speech-related issues such as emphasis, melody, speed, and pitch modulation, as well as best practices for presentations and other professional scenarios. You’ll be coached on these and other strategies for strategic vocal communications, and will be working at home as well during the week to achieve your goals.

Lessons are 45-minutes and are taught in-studio or virtually.

Youth lessons are slightly shorter, focused, fun, and deeply aware of the special needs of youth voices. Vocal training will include building out a daily practice routine to be done at home between lessons. Classical training includes a bit of classical repertory, but mainly students sing songs they love that are healthy and challenge the voice.

We can also prepare for auditions of various kinds, for both singing and speaking. Performance techniques cover vocal and non-verbal skills so the singer stands out in all respects.

Tea is provided for students. Parents may relax in the studio, or drop students off. Many parents enjoy visiting nearby cafes or taking walks on the beautiful beaches in Rye, just a couple of minutes away.
